If the lady does not want to have more children with ANYBODY! then she should get the snip. This is the logical solution. Marriages/relationships do break down, and some ladies do philander and are often a bit careless.

Why is it the lady's responsibility? That's plain selfish. It's as much hers as yours to stop the risk of kiddies and after shes been taking the pill (or whatever) since 15 then maybe its our turn now....IMHO.

Got done some 10 years ago. Other than the damage to your pride and dignity, it's easy as.

    Agreed.

    They're not comparable procedures.

Getting a woman's tubes tied/cut/burnt/clamped, whatever is major surgery.

Had mine done about 13 years ago.

Had some complications after the op, and had swollen nads for a week, felt like a permanent boot in the goollies.

But at least I don;t have to worry about new offspring.....so can spend more on the LR.

So fess up, who has had what done, how long ago and what have been the consequences?
    OK BB,
I've sat quietly for some time now but feel I must point something out that I've learnt over time..

getting "the snip" is one thing,

but you wont know she truely intends to keep you unless she also gets you microchipped...

(well I learnt that with my dogs....)

    cheers

SWMBO suggested I get mine done. So far I have managed to put it off for 20 years. Yes I am a chicken.

Any way won't be long before SWMBO is past child bearing age.

    Dave.
Ive waited and am still surprised no one said anything Mr W !!!!

(thats exactly the reason to get it, as otherwise you'll spend the next 20 years doing that!)

I don't see what the issue is, I went in between shifts. It's not as if your getting your penis and testicles surgically removed flipped inside out and a vagina made from the remnants of your manhood. Thats just wrong.

The procedure isn't an issue, but the local didn't kick in on one side and I was heard screaming 3 rooms away when the scalpel went in.

Complications, I was pushing it a tad to much at the time due to the wife being 8 months pregnant and having to look after the two other kids. Subsequently I managed to get an infection in one of the wounds, you haven't lived until you have experienced a hard red nut that squirts puss when touched. Trip to the docs to show her my swollen sack, a dose of antibiotics later and all was ok.

I admit 3 months later it was a tad embarrassing walking down the road with a sample jar full of man juice to take to the pathologist. Getting the sample in the jar is a bit of an art form, unfortunately the wife didn't believe me when I said the lab takes into account for a certain amount of Saliva in the sample and could differentiate between the two fluids so I was left playing in a one man band.

Honestly it was one of the best things I ever did.
