So I understand, what is the actual benefit of constant 4wd?
I spent a lot of my younger years installing part time 4wd kits to 80 seriels landcrusers to remove wear and tear, improve road handling and economy.

I see the benfit in constand 4wd for snow, sleet etc. Please educate me!;)

Four wheels are gripping the road instead of two, like a World Rally car versus a rear-wheel drive V8 supercar dinosaur.

D1s are very capable.
