Ages ago when the nigerian scammers first started I go one, realised it was bull before I had even finished reading it. then thought I would have some fun so I wrote back "I have put a lot of thought into this and as you have indicated that you prayed (preyed) that I am an honest person I thought I would pray to god for guidance, and was I suprised when she answered me She said you are a very very evil person and that she has already told Satan that you are going to hell and that she has made sure that Satan has a special spot set aside for you, your children, your parents, your brothers and sisters, in fact every one that you know because you are so evil"
I then went on to say "I really think you should repent , join a monestry give all your money to charity and live in a cave for the rest of your life begging forgiveness from God as she is very very angry with you"
He replied almost instantly and I must have hit a cord with him as he was unbelieveably rude and colourful in his reply, particulary about God being a "she" I strung him along for about a month before I got bored with all of it my final relpy to him was "and just so you realise, by being tied up with insulting me for the last month you have been to busy to pull your pathetic scam on anyone else, rot in hell you piece of vomit. I never got a relpy.

If I may.... I actually know someone who got busted by a Nigerian scam.
He ran a very successful business consultancy firm and thought God was providing for him to help his local church blah blah blah. He Took $100,000AUD on a plan to Nigeria as the deposit for gazillions from them. My brother heard the news reports of these scams on the radio and happenned to mention it to his business partner as just idle chit-chat and then it all fell into place as the scams were very very new back then. His partner and him Realized it was a scam when he was boarding his last leg of like 30hours of flying and he just had time to walk off the plane. He took the next flight back to safe territory and within minutes of him not getting on the plane for the last leg from Frankfurt to somewhere in Nigeria, the scammers were on the phone to his partners sydney number asking what happened. He said his partner had pulled out and things got a little messy on the phone. He was very close to losing everything and from all reports since, he probably would have been kidnapped and held hostage for a ransom, that his consultancy business would have had to pay to free him.
It was a very chilling story he told us one night that went for hours and hours and he was saved only due to my brothers random comment to his business partner about these " new" Nigerian scams. That was in the early 90's.
