    Ryco filters, amazing reply

Well I spent ages trying to find filter Part numbers to buy for my 03 Mitsubishi
Express works van "major service" couldn't find them anywhere, particularly on Rycos home page just wouldn't do my van with the drop down boxes. Ended up using SCA HP which got the fuel filter wrong as it turned out. Well I left my sad story on the Ryco contact spot, And I cant believe it, today first thing this morning i got a phone call from a very apologetic and VERY helpful
Ryco man who pointed me in the right direction..To get a reply these days at least for me has never happened, and so quickly ..A BIG thumbs up Ryco well done ..Gary

Ive in the past been very happy with the ryco product and found the australian buisness let down by the suppliers.
http://www.ryco.co.nz/ site was much better with fleetgaurd catalogue type specs.

In the last few weeks we had travelling reps visiting the workshop to ask about supply chain issues.some are the first in years.only a few are offereing new productssome electical suppliers have a trailer with fast moving bits..

on the radio there are adds advising you that ordering parts and supplies on a monthly basis is cheeper offering to work out your needs.
several trade days have been run for purchasing officers to advise them to carry stock as they cant supply.

the general story is that just in time is a failed system and the chinese market isnt the bonanza it was.with the certian sectors booming the suppliers are needing to concentrate on certian markets-but also need to have people looking after current buisness expecting the boom to crash.

even if they dont have stock.they come and have a chat.
I did my trade with lots of old time parts dealers that travelled the coast waiting on trains.
