Rosscoe68 in your profit margin did you include the kickbacks and backroom deals for stocking and positioning 1 brand over another?
As a former electronics chain owner/founder/namesake complained about unless he paid an advertising/marketing fee and positioning price his aussie products would be put on the bottom shelf and be obstructed by rivals "sales"displays.
One friend told me a supermarket made more on the kickbacks for a certain product than by actually selling the item! But an electronics national chain store would never do this would they,:D they'ed never have a store layout with certain items eye level and others on bottom shelf, or stock a cheaper or better made brand of comp/laptop that did not give HQ a special fee?;);)
