Thanks to everyone for the birthday greetings. The party was actually a week and a half ago, and today my twin is boarding United in a couple of hours to return to Houston - it will still be his birthday when he gets home!

Not a particularly brilliant day today - heavy overcast, intermittent rain, howling gale, and still only fifteen degrees.

We noticed there has been quite a bit of rain in your area over the past few days.

And yes, the cold weather.... Three years ago (November 22, 2008 to be precise) we took visitors from the UK out to our place at Elong Elong. It was FREEZING, rain and sleet and wind.

Needless to say they had some "comments" on our Australian spring:angel:

Anyhow John our very best wishes and hope you have a lovely Birthday.

(BTW we are having rain and cold weather here at Horsley as well, and our daughter & son-in-law from North East Arnhem Land are staying with us for a few days. Lucky we have lots of jackets here!!)
