    URGENT - mechanic - Beechworth, Vic

    Just noticed a knocking noise from in the engine bay. Not sure what it is, but need someone to check it out. Anyone able to help or know a reputable place to take it?

    As P38Rover said, use Ivan (not the others that may or may not be over the road or not). His knowledge is good and he's not a bad bloke for a pom! He fixed up my old deefer for a trip around oz and did a top rate job.

    According to the RACV bloke, it's only running on 3 cylinders.

    Waiting on th tilt-tray to take us to Ivan now.

    Managed to get towed to Grover at Wodonga - thankfully!

    He started working on it right away. A broken rocker bolt and broken rocker shaft? it appears. Should be all sorted tomorrow all things going well. Also got the van towed to a caravan park just down the road from Grover.

    Gotta love RACQ Ultimate
