    Morning all

I never expected that to go to 6 pages, anyway, thanks for all the ideas / suggestions.

The chilli powder / pepper has been laid and I am going to investigate a small electric fence fence as well.

Super soaker / Nerf gun, I no longer have the enthusiasm to be up at all hours waiting for 'the moment', as fun as it might be.

I thought teh film clip was funny and possible but an electric fence might be easier

    I shall report back

    thanks

friends cats who alway came inside their house one day would not go near the house and were terrified of it. Then a big carpet snake crawled out.

so a carpet snake will keep them away.

But carpet snake will also eat you chooks/budgie, etc.

If I was to let my German Shepherd roam the streets at night I would expect to be fined or worse loose her or have her run over or injured. Both of us go to great lenghts to socialise the dog, she visits kindergartens, state schools the elderly and goes to training every week .
We do this to as responsible pet owners we care for our pets.

Anyone that lets there cat roam free at night/day deserves to loose it! This is not responsible. There is nothing worse than working in the vegi patch and finding an unwanted deposit or the smell of cat urine in other areas of the garden.

The damage to wild life is another good reason to keep them If the family dog was allowed to roam free and bring down larger native aminals such as possums, roos wombats wandering cats etc. Ther would be a huge fuss!
In, in the end I think it comes down to lazyness on the cat owners part, a few hundred bucks to build a run for them would almost guareentee their cats would not get subjected to some of the home remedies shown on here !

(sorry but I hate the spelling like "TIRES" and "NITE" bits that are creeping into our society.) I have seen that sticker with correct spelling if that helps.
