Registration cost of Defender 110

This is an old thread, but costs have increased in WA
With the abolishion of the private use rate and the increase in injury insurance
my annual renewal Jan 2017 for 130 HCPU is $829.70 ($111 increase on last year)
How does this compare with other states?

if you can wait until you are a pensioner, you can register one vehicle in your name for $0 in NSW. :)

:D ... and by then usually at least one of your other vehicles will be old enough for club rego, and allowing for one your wife's name and ....

makes it all a bit cheaper for us seniors :)

What is everyone paying for registration in QLD, particularly the older models (1980s)?

But you still have to pay for the green slip, and the annual inspection.
