Speeding penalties QLD

Theoretically,you can loose accrue all 12 points at the one time on a double demerit point weekend - if you speed (at more that 20KPH) through a red light/speed camera combo at an intersection. 3 points for the red light, 3 points for the speeding x 2... way to loose you license in one hit.:eek:

Yeh! It would have nothing to do with the fact that it costs more for Policing on a Public Holiday period....and it's a good opportunity to collect more revenue and fatten up the coffers!

And I reckon that is terrific.
Hopefully will get some stupid dick off the road, as speeding through a red light is IMHO probably one of the worst offences anyone can do and very likely to kill someone.
I don't often agree with the BS that serves as road safety but those cameras I DO agree with.
