Hmm drive a series three hybrid, cab might even be earlier. Has the series two/ two A fuel filler. Sort of like a Defender. There was a post about a factory built cross between a series three and a ranger rover. Had leaves on the rear and coils on the front. Only a few made.

Bill, while looking at my photos,
this one you remember was at your place,
is that Arnold hiding behind the tree ?

The car is the same as the Yellow one in the previous post,
I think i liked it better with the Series 2 windscreen.

No mine's a series 2, And unlike series ones the leaks, rattles and flapping bits of 'tin' are not standard issue, but due to the bodywork making contact with terra firma far too often

Could be Arnold before he went grey Don. That must have been 20 or more years ago. The series screen does it for me too. Cool truck.

I think the roadster's OK but I love the dropped Series II on the VW chassis in the other thread you started.

I bought some parts off eBay from a husband & wife aftermarket seller up in Croydon (or near there) a couple of years ago, in their driveway was a LWB soft-top series/rangie hybrid that I had seen on the road at least 10 years ago. The vehicle looks great. I didn't get to ask them about it as they were away for the weekend and had kindly agreed to leave the parts out for me.
I'm sure that was one of you guys.
