And that green 'off roadster' would be a project worth sacrificing some shed space for. How to make a start without my wife noticing....

    Bill.
I know of a 2000 model Jack that is requiring a new engine but the engine is worth more than the car so maybe that's not such a bad idea.

Was thinking LS 1,2,3 etc but the AULRO resident engine transplant artist (Rovercare) has not the time at the moment

Yeah but useless because as the ad says...

This is not a vehicle that is suited to taking out and bush bashing or driving hard on the beach.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

A few years ago, on a club trip through Queen Mary falls, there was a guy who had exactly what you have described.

It was a SWB Series ute on a classic Range rover chassis with the ZF auto gearbox and 3.9 EFI motor

It is painted a distinctive aqua blue colour.

Im sure it has been documented on here before, but I dont have time to go looking.

If it was a trayback with a 100" wheelbase then it may have been the one that Mick Garner built (though there are likely a few around).

Not the clip I was looking for, there is one where it is taken for a test drive - you need to understand German to know what they are talking about. Not sure if I like it though.
