In car camera

Ordered one last week from eBay after reading this thread. Hopefully it will be just as quick to get here

It was there when I got home. The SD card slot is standard size but I fitted a micro one into a holder and put that in. Its 8 gig and gives 1 hour 27 minutes of recording. Camear looks pretty good for the money I've had a little play with it but it needs a 12 Hr charge.

Well I've had the in car camera a week now, after translating the Chinese/English translation and buying the sd/mmc card thought I'd get the biggest for the longest footage, bummer $90.00 bucks, the camera was only $40.00 well it all works great the pic is supposed to be HD but not sure. The neg is it takes forever to down load the images to the laptop but it does get there, already enough pics for the cops to charge 8 idiots with dangerous driving etc if I could be bothered. The image is to big to email and I can't work out how to get the video from the mac to the iPad, but all in all very happy with it ..thanks for all the replys too ...Gary

After the 12 hour charge, the battery in mine only lasted 30 minutes.
Apart from that, a nice little unit worth the price I paid.

Can't you plug it into a 12 volt socket??..

I thought it was illegal to have anyhing mounted on the widscreen/dash that was in your line of sight, I remember when Sat-Navs became popular the cops were booking people for the positionig of their Sat-Navs, looks like the cops will have another thing to blitz, BTW if you have an accident and You're in the wrong, what then, hide it, Regards Frank.

I've been looking at one of these. Not cheap but how do they compare to what the rest of you are using .
