They seem to have a Puma bonnet hiding a TD5.
How are the rear lights arranged? I'm presuming the blinkers are above the parkers on the front.
A surprisingly good model especially for the price. Most parts fit together without the need for glue but some of the more finicky pieces like side indicator lights and wiper blades may require some persuasion to keep them in place.
Patsy got three this morning (Numpty, Ho Hars and us) and these were the only three Defenders left at 0840. The other model cars were also walking out the shop at a rather alarming rate.

The tail/brake lights should be to the top, the indicators to the bottom and being Left Hand drive, the larger red "fog light" to the drivers side and reversing light to the passengers side, whereas at the front, the park lights are to the top and the indicators on the bottom (according to the picture on the box lid!!)

Thanks Glen, I've got all the small bits sitting in the upturned lid, on the table. :D
Job done, it needs a bar, driving lights, side steps etc., etc.; not much different to the real thing actually. :phttp://www.aulro.com/afvb/attachment...5&d=1333544897
Search around Ian, you still have the fuel filler to go!!

I thought the post for an Aldi defender model was a childish whim by grown men. Last night heading to the supermarket to buy a loaf of bread I deviated into Aldi. Curious to see the model Puma. Seeing it there I felt adultish not to buy it. And it was at my arbitrary $8 price point. I cannot pass up an opportunity to buy a toy if priced at or below $8. Construction will be my easter break project since my 110 hasn't got any pressing repairs. Shame they didn't release a 110. That would have been real special.
I've embraced the childish status now.
