My defender has one fitted, was there when I bought it. But the doors are still rusted, so I guess they don't.......:o
Although there's no rust in the chassis or elsewhere that I can find.

G'day Mick-Kelly :)
Nice tidy looking ute Mick :D should give good service.

Nice looking truck.
Interested to know why you did not buy a '94 Defender?
I have a '91 Hilux (4 Runner) in my back paddock which blew it's head at 350k. ;)
It only completely broke down twice in the 10 years I drove it, including the alternator and then the head gasket. Had a major issue with the gear box sensors which could have been caused by my DIY electrical. Used to drink heaps of fuel and overheat. Has front independant suspension so used to fly on the open road. Would like to drop a new engine into it one day.....
Didnt go for a fender because they are too big for negotiating a 1 hr each way city traffic commute which i have to do several times a week. Plus they are rarer than rocking horse poo for a dual cab and i need the ute back for manky tools and carriage space. Other wise i would have loved one.
