    Rare Landrover parts

Britcar UK sent me a list of Landy parts from the middle east. I'll see if it uploads and is readable. He reckons it could take a few months to unpack the containers though so not all is currently available.

We have just purchased 1.3 Million pounds worth of Genuine Land Rover parts from the Middle East, the parts go back to the 1970's and include many parts that have been fully obsolete for years here in Europe, for the Series models and Range Rover classic, the first of 4 40 foot containers has just arrived and we are unpacking it now, it is unbelievable what is in there, for a full list of parts that are coming in, please email me at duncan@brit-car.co.uk and I will be happy to send you a spreadsheet to go through. Included in this shipment are body panels, glass, Engines, 2.25 and V8, Gearboxes Transfer boxes, IRD Units, interior trim etc etc.

Please save our shop to your favourites, as we will slowly be listing all the rare and obsolete parts here to give everyone a change of getting them.

Article in LRM March 2012 :

LRM writer & phot. Nick Dimbleby stumbled across an astonishing cache of rare LR parts while on assignment in Dubai with LR. After calling in at a local LR dealership to buy some bits for his own RR classic restoration project, he was told the franchise had 1.3 million GBPOUNDS worth of parts it was willing to sell . These included a vast array of bits for 1980's RR, D1's & early freelanders & defenders. He passed the info on to Duncan Mansfield, Director of Britcar UK. The haul includes whole engines gearboxes & body panels. For a full list of parts catalogued to date ....

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
