After 30 plus years of searching for a cure I did finally find one - not partaking in alcohol. But a berocca and plenty of water to rehydrate is about all you can do, and as distasteful as it can be sometimes a hair of the dog is also a help - just not a lot of it.

Hydration and whatever sort of berocca type electrolyte replacement you prefer. Best advice i can give, but probably not the best seeing as i've never had a hangover
Don't interpret that as i don't drink though, hahaha.
    Cheers and best of luck

P.S, may not apply, but if you have a headache, DON'T WHISPER!
Whispering increases the frequency of your voice, making the headache worse

Hot chips with soy sauce works for some!
    Plus rehydrating!
    Hope you get better soon.

Rehydrating before the damage is done is the best prevention. The only cure I know of is shower, shave, dress in clean cloths, wear dark glasses if you must and get on with the workload. The more you wallow in it, the longer it will last. By 3 to 4 pm it will hit you again, that's the queue for hair of the dog to tidy up the evening.

Take a berocca before you start drinking. That way your prepared for a big one. Best way to avoid a hangover is to sober up before you go to sleep or use the Victoria Beckham method.

Hair of the dog is by the far the best cure. 2 pale beers at lunch and you'll feel like going again

Try a Blue powerade for hangovers, it helps and there is even a blue powerade appreciation society ; ) bebo.com - Profile from the blue powerade appreciation society <akamountainblast>

I've also found that mixing in some Taurine makes it really effectfull.

Other stuff i've had good results with is Cysteine and milk thistle.

Cysteine is a precursor of glutathione which is depleted after drinking and this causes acetaldehyde to build up and thats what makes you feel rough.

For me, it's rehydration before going to bed. That helps avoid the hangover.

My personal hangover cure / remedy.

    two paracetamol
    Orange juice
    cup of tea
    lemonade/sprite
    bacon role with HP sauce

This is all served for breakfast.
If headache has not reduced after 30 mins I take 2 ibuprofen.

No idea why it works, but it is my routine and may not work for anyone else.
