    Whats going on around here?

    I have just read 3 different threads, as well as a few others.

    But, in these 3 posts, it seems like people are getting all hot & bothered over the smallest things.

    Now, i know this happens on occasion, hence the "soap box", but it seems to be creeping into more & more posts in the other areas.

    I wont go into specifics, as I don't feel the need to highlight those particular threads, but the general "mood" of this place seems to be heading downhill.

    Is it due to the long winter? I know teachers swear that the kids start getting more cranky than usual around this time of year.

    Or, is it something else?

    Or, is it just me?

    Anyone else noticed it?

    All my recent posts have been awesome and fun.

    But yes, winter sucks and I can't wait for daylight savings to start so I can spend some daylight hours on the Landy during the week!

    I think it is more than just the Mondayitis kicking in. This seems to have been creeping in over the last few weeks / months.

    The worst thing is, that some threads have gone off the original topic, and have focused on the mud slinging etc.


    And Judo, if I had a new set of Frylites, I would be happy too...

    It isn't just the forum. Maybe it's cabin/winter fever, maybe people are fed up in general. Personally, I need to get away for a break - the desert is looking good.

    If you want to lighten the tone here, I humbly suggest a thread entitled "Whats going on around here?" isn't going to help! It just shows that misery is contagious! Have you (or any other posters) have a good news story to share?

    Well I'm guessing that some of the posts you're talking about are of mine.
    I try very hard not to get into slanging matches but when someone decides to throw personal insults at you for expressing an opinion, well it happens.
    I apologise to all if my response to one member was a bit heavy but the personal insults were just not warranted that's all.

    I suspect i may be in a similar position as wardy1, :/ probably taking things a little off topic and maybe offending people/taking offence to pointless stuff. I guess it's just been a big year and i need to cool off, so sorry to all and i'll make sure i don't get heated about things in the future
