Crocodile escaped from its cage on a plane bound for Melbourne

A CROCODILE escaped from its cage on a Qantas flight last week, and was found roaming free in the cargo hold when the plane touched down in Melbourne. Qantas today confirmed a croc had managed to break free during a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne, and was discovered by a baggage handler when he opened the cargo hold.

The roaming croc was quickly and safely captured and rushed back to its cage without incident.

It is not yet known the size of the crocodile.

In a statement, Qantas said Australian Air Express is investigating the how the crocodile managed to roam free in the aircraft's cargo hold.

"The investigation is focusing on whether it had been loaded appropriately on delivery to AaE (Australian air Express)," the statement said.

Damn, it was only a big Brahman bull that escaped the Rodeo here on Saturday night and trashed the Bowling Green up the road.

He was found in the smoking area of the club, apparently he only wanted a quick drink, then he was back to the Showground

Three stockmen lassoed him, then tied to the bullbar of A Land Cruiser and dragged back to showground.
