Gone are the good old days of fridge disposal. Not only did he and his mate have to retrieve it, he also got a 45 000 Euro fine, and got his company into trouble as well.
I wonder if the Authorities can do that for bush land abandoned cars in Oz?

Tenants around here seem to put dead fridges, washers, dryers out on the footpath. Housing Commission tenants just leave them on the front "lawn" along with a Falcon engine or two. Dead outboard motors get clamped to a veranda rail and left to decompose.Quote:

They could be a knock off, they're out there. I'm not convinced by the pic that the terminal is compliant - and that's what you'd need to prove to the Inspector as well - easier to use a twin screw job as it can be seen straight up and without questioning or argument but you could be right. I'm more old school - and most of the Inspectors I deal with are too - if someone doesn't use a twin screw connector on an earth it will attract more attention and make the installing Electrician look lazy - but judging but the rats nest in there, that second one doesn't seem to bother whoever did this.
