Yes Mike, cool stuff.
The coolroom is pretty big and has rock/geo specimens from all over the planet and beyond!
Antarctic core samples are held in the small freezer room.

On two weeks leave but the phone didn't stop Friday night or yesterday and I ended up doing three hours including travel when the young tech from Coffs was stuck on an old school modular system. And for interests sake it was MT and still on R22.
They really don't spend $ on stores that aren't highly profitable.
Someone had powered the Delta P oil safety through the sump heater circuit so every time he did a system reset the oil pressure switch didn't reset. [emoji849]
There was a micro relay from the Presscon defrost controller that had a dodgy set of contacts, too.
Yer,the oil safety, soon tricks the young fellas.
Wire wasn’t pulled off the heater in the oil safety?[bighmmm][biggrin]
You will have to throw your work phone in the draw and let the battery go flat[thumbsupbig]
When we are away, mine stays in the office these days. They have SWMBOs number if something crops up and is very important. And we forget to answer it at times. Then eventually by the time I can be bothered calling back, they have sorted things out anyway.
Although I do appreciate your work situation is slightly different from mine.[biggrin]
Naa, it was one of the solid state ones that screws into the well on the Bitzer oil pump.
He was up against it being powered through the bloody sump heater circuit and not the control circuit.
The old differential pressure switch was still in place too as I started checking it, I've had the heaters fail on them but then noticed the Delta P screwed into the comp.
My boss has told everyone not to call me from now on.
And that included the engineers and project managers. [emoji23]
He's told everyone I've been overloaded and overworked and all install/site inspections are to go through him and not directly to me anymore. [emoji23]
And the local boys plus the boss have my private number anyway.
I only added the 'on leave' message to my email yesterday arvo.
I need to add that to the mobile too as customers ring me before ringing or emailing the office.
Replaced the comp on the freezer room and both blowers on the coolroom during my time there Des. [emoji6]
Both had redundant systems, too, although the backup on the freezer room had failed and they didn't want it repaired, yet the Antarctic core samples are pretty much irreplaceable?
They had a qualified fridgey on site but he used to defer to me.
Jeeezuz, that'd work well. Not. WTF had that gone or was it one that never had one fitted. Bloke was in a rush to knock off possibly.[bigrolf]
Must have flooded back badly.
"She'll be jake the CC Htr will take care of it". "Eeeerrrr nooooooo, it doesn't work like that matey."
Hahaha, I had that happen once on a salami clean room. (12°, 65%RH)
The poor can was pumping pure liquid as they charged it to a full sight glass [emoji849]
