Strip them back with a rotary wire brush and hit them wirh Loctite rust converter, then paint, preferably with a zinc rich base.
We use Loctite rust coverter on everything.
The joys of having plant sonetimes almost on the beach.

    I think so.
It has a plastisiser in it to, so adds a coating, unlike most rust converters which are usually straight (watered down) phosphoric acid.
It gives you time to get a base coat of paint on.

Des, this is what a well dressed fridgey has to do sometimes these days.

Extracting log and config files out of an AC system with the laptop.
The controls on this would be 15 years old

Has actually been around for a long time,we had it at Jupiters casino around late 80’s I recon?
One of the first jobs I commissioned with BMS,and every Chilled water valve failed

    Not innotech,Honeywell.

Steve Maranda was working from under his house at Sunnybank in those days under the banner of Qld controls, which then led to Innotech.
He bought a building at 8 mile plains, then built a bigger building next door.Old building now has Daikin as a tenant.
New building is a cracker, with a full commercial kitchen with chefs, for the staff.
And a huge York chiller on the roof, the plant rooms look like Govt spec, done very well,I actually have a pic of the largest plant room somewhere.
The two sons run the joint now, with Dad looking over their shoulders.

There you go Paul what about a nice Watermelon Pink? Should give a touch of class to the Plant room.

**** me! No more dried Cheese sarnies out of a Tupperware box for them then.

    Staff or employees?

Just had one of our commissioner's remotely re-writing the condenser programming on this gear for me.
I had weird proof fails and relays locking in.
    The computer had a glitch.
