It’s also the way they dress and their size. Some feel the cold more than others.

Some wear long pants and long sleeved shirts, where others wear short sleeved clothes, short shorts, low cut tops, etc,I think you get the drift.

Other places move walls, renovate, then eventually when the hot weather comes realise the AC system also needs some modifications, sensors, registers moved, etc.

    Hi,
One secretary in the office was always cold.
    Brought her own heater.
Plugged it in and placed it near her desk so it would just warm her.
It was right under the thermostat for half that floor.
    Grrr!

    Cheers

YEAH! Or hang large Posters or their suitcoat over the RA Grille on a coathanger, so it was done correctly.

    Soon sort that out Paul.

"Notice from MANAGEMENT. As from next Monday all staff must use their respective dressing rooms to strip nude before taking their positions at their desk, so we can better evaluate ongoing problems with the air conditioning in this building by bringing the building design features to a common denominator".

As Management's offices are not involved in said problems, Managerial Staff are excluded from this policy"

We look forward to your co-operation

    Works (almost) every time

It is a strange phenomenon about this industry that even if your life had been as pure as the driven snow when you started your apprenticeship, it can rudely change when you are out amongst the clientele & you can lie to your back teeth & even sound most convincing.

Sometimes referred to as Panic, or Saving or Covering your arse.

I doubt this only applies the the Fridgie Branch.

I don't have the heart to tell him it's still lying by omission

He's a great kid and will be a really good tech.
