Thread: One for the fridgies

Hi,
One secretary in the office was always cold.
Brought her own heater.
Plugged it in and placed it near her desk so it would just warm her.
It was right under the thermostat for half that floor.
Grrr!

YEAH! Or hang large Posters or their suitcoat over the RA Grille on a coathanger, so it was done correctly.

We often tell them,yes,turned it up half a degree,or down half a degree,do nothing,and then next day they say its a lot better

It is a strange phenomenon about this industry that even if your life had been as pure as the driven snow when you started your apprenticeship, it can rudely change when you are out amongst the clientele & you can lie to your back teeth & even sound most convincing.


Sometimes referred to as Panic, or Saving or Covering your arse.


I doubt this only applies the the Fridgie Branch.

My 18yo and just about to go 2nd year apprentice is a JW and is learning.
I don't have the heart to tell him it's still lying by omission

He's a great kid and will be a really good tech.
