...then just keep it Pat, they are the best. Sure later ones are comfortable etc etc but nothing feels like the basicness and simplicity of a early Tdi...

So, if I let it idle for 20 or 30 seconds before turning it off I will glaze the bores, but if I don't I'll blow the turbo.

Oh, there goes that head gasket thing again.:eek:
Mine's just kicked over the 250000 and with the Canning trip next year. I had just talked myself into leaving well enough alone and doing the timing belt only.
