    ...then just keep it Pat, they are the best. Sure later ones are comfortable etc etc but nothing feels like the basicness and simplicity of a early Tdi...

    Oh, there goes that head gasket thing again.
    Mine's just kicked over the 250000 and with the Canning trip next year. I had just talked myself into leaving well enough alone and doing the timing belt only.
