Mine are 6, 8 and 10. They're cacking themselves with laughter.

That's the first time I've seen that for at least 15 years or so - every bit as good as I remember.

Kids loved it too, so there is a new generation who now hopefully pass this one along to their kids.

Great movies, got both on DVD and my two kids love it. As I did and still do.
And now for one of my favorite quotes from the movie. " Well what the hell happened man ? where's the antichrist"!!! Love it!!.

Goes to show doesn't it, a little south african movie done with very cheap spfx and very obvious fast motion. It is not seamless, it is rough and ready and it is brilliant!
Movie makers today just can't do that can they?

I watched Rocky Horror the other night with a friend and we loved it, not quite as rough and ready but not far from it, she said her kids would just look at it and say "what tha"

Thanks for the heads up on this otherwise I would have missed it!

In the night scene where the teacher is scared by the rhino and climbs a tree, you'll see that the moon is shining brightly on the trees.

Apparently the director couldn't get the effect he wanted with just natural moonlight, so they painted every tree & branch to look like it had moonlight on it. Just for a shot that goes for a few seconds.
