Our fresh bowling attack, which did so well in the first innings, seemed unsure what to do when Smith and Amal were flogging them all over the ground. Evenually Johnson went around the wicket, which was a good move, and Lyon took the catch of the century, but today could still be very hard work for our bowlers.

Amla makes clark look like Bill Lawry:lol2:
-
Wasn't Amla good yesterday. He deserves his century today, and if the Aussies aren't careful he could go on with Kallis and make a BIG score.
Our boys may have dominated in the first two draws, but the SAs are so grittily determined they could steal the series if they continue batting today like yesterday. Their bowlers were also excellent in demolishing our batters. No doubt SA deserve to be number one.

If we get out of this one and draw one could class it as a modern day miracle...wouldn't you think?
-
When was the last time we batted for two days?
-
We're far more likely to bat for 1 day at 5-6 runs an over having a crack. At least that's entertaining. Warner and Cowan certainly weren't blocking out the overs yesterday!

bet365, Australia $11, SA $1.25, the draw $6
-
I'm surprised it's not more than $11. Isn't the record successful 2nd innings chase only about 450? Nothing is impossible in 2 days, but damn it's unlikely...

it is do able look at the runs SA got on day 3 compared to runs made on day 1 and 2. we have the time and the wickets in hand, how good those wickets are I do not know.
