I'm in! I spend all year waiting for the First Test. ABC on the wireless, TV turned down to avoid hearing channel nine. Marvellous.

    Oh, and lychees and mangoes.

    Ah, summer.......

    Now you're talking!

Although this evening in Melbourne it's raining and chilly, so I have a glass of red in hand.

I reckon international cricket is the most rigged sport in history.

Dodgy decisions, dodgy performances, bookies, bribes, etc etc

No you can keep it, which is a pity 'cos I used to love the game.

yeah it is a shame about Tony, hopefully he pulls through ok.
I have really missed cricket and it uses to much net watching it online. The only thing i don't like about cricket is you watch the 2 teams play over and over again. That is what is so good about the world cup

Don't lose the faith, Stick with the Test Nations, [ with India away from home] and enjoy the moment, Bob

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

One thing I have noticed is how far Australia has slipped as a cricketing nation. Is it our selectors or are we just not good enough? Maybe modern day journalism and it's hype about all and sundry true or not maybe has us floating in the clouds with false self esteem. Our Olympic swimmers were another classic example.

Maybe the Aussies are condemned to wander the cricket wilderness for 40 years while eating nothing but humble pie!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
