'Interllectual Giant' aren't 2 words that spring to mind when talking about Pup...

I wonder how long it took him & Mickey A. to work that out
Very perceptive of him. Especially given that the Indian spinners have taken 6 of the 8 wickets to fall so far.

Or maybe it was just Clarke's way of saying "we're **** at playing spin. Expect us to be bowled out for 250"

So it ended up as 8 of the 10 wickets fell to spin, and bowled out for 262. My comment above wasn't far out!

Well, I can hardly say 'Yay' after last nights efforts...

Do they really believe their own hype about being able to win a game over there...? How long is Clarkes injury going to be an excuse for playing like this... Then they will have to come with another **** poor excuse.

Playing some decent Cricket would be a good start...

Maybe I should just support the Poms this tour...

Gav, I watched up to the end of England's innings, and thought to myself that the Aussies should easily beat the 269.

Then woke up this morning and saw that they missed, and by a fair distance too.

Ominous sign for the next 25 games that the two Teams will be playing in the 3 formats together over the next 9 months?

Yeah, that's where I got to as well - thinking England were 20 or 30 short of where they needed to be.... Apparently not... It will be a loooong tour if they keep this up.

It looks like the Aussie team were missing Michael Clarke as they're now out of the Champions' Trophy. Missing the captain, as well as some backbone, discipline and playing ability.

Doesn't bode well for the Ashes.

I'm not totally up with team selections these days, but I imagine it will be quite a different team for the Ashes? I'd like to think we can take at least a competitive team to England, even if we can't win. In saying that, I don't hold much hope...

I love they way they always spin it to make it look less crappy. One quote I heard today went something like "We aren't too concerned about the Champions Trophy, we are here to concentrate on the Ashes"..

Do they really believe their own crap they are sprouting...?

They're not concerned about any loss. Just the wins. They're thinking positive at least!
