Up in FNQ, Clove Oil is used to wipe down furniture, and walls to kill mould. Works a treat. It is a shame I can't find it in large containers, because it would be great to add some into the laundry to kill mould on clothing.

keeping on the kitchen theme. A sprinkle of bi-carb soda in water and soak your silver. They come up a treat. Don't be too enthusiastic with the bi-carb or done too frequently, it can lift the silver plating off the base metal. Found out the downside the hard way, sorry mum.
Having spent over 20 years working in or hanging around commercial kitchens I'd be surprised that vanilla essence has any cleaning qualities save to make the fridge smell better.
I never knew that a pool noodle had so many applications.

Hi,
We needed a door bell.
I hate the usual door bells!
Ended up using a reversing beeper running from a 12V wall wart plug supply and used the 240V side on the bell button.
We have a unique decaying beep sound which doesn't annoy the sheet out of me.
cheers
Hp brown sauce is a brilliant brass cleaner.
If the brass is really tarnished the smear the sauce over it and leave for 5 mins then clean off and the brass will be shiny as new. No hard rubbing or polishing.

Urine as a tool of revenge
Most of the workshop peed in the bosses fenders radiator one exercise as he was being a dill! Started to suspect after complaining that his fender smelt 'tangy' on long patrols!I'm also sure some of the guys deliberately didn't aim.

Another one that comes to mind is the use of Round up or similar to write long lasting and rude comments on to nicely manicured lawns, have seen the results at place where I worked for a while when a disgruntled employee who visited during the night with a small spray bottle left a message describing his ex boss in no uncertain terms.
Got a lot of laughs impossible to fix until the grass grew back!
