    damnable murphy....

    Stupid rain.....

2 weekends I had slated for general clean up and stripping an already partially stripped disco... I'll have the disco scrapped all my scrap metal sorted and recycled and the garage cleaned up ready for a weekend strip of fozzy... I wont have a thing to do in december prior to going on Xmas leave.....

noooo, every moment Ive had in the last 2 weekends that wasn't taken up with the normal routine stuff its been raining, or hailing, or thundering and lightninging.. and its been so wet that even the normal morons have been hiding so I dont even have any fun stories to write about.

Ended up having to buy water for the tank yesterday. Normally that's enough to get the rain going. But it's dry as a dead dingoes dinner still here. Or something like that.

yep I got about half the disco done last weekend after loosing most of saturday to just enough rain to prevent work and only having half a sunday.

and sure enough, yesterday the rain came in again and turned up just often enough to be not raining during when I couldnt be in the yard working but enough to keep the ground too wet to be under vehicles.

an yes, fine all week again.....

and.... I slipped on the wet back stairs, kicked the underside of one and not only managed to peel a toenail back Ive got splinters under it...

Dead dingo's donger is the correct saying . Very dry at Hay Point also, we seem to have missed most of the showers that did make it through to the coast. Trying to keep some fruit trees and the vegie garden alive is a bit of a mission.

Yeah - was trying to keep it kid friendly

You're not far from me here at Prossy.

My folks and in-laws in Brisbane both have smashes windows and hail in the house, vege gardens stripped bare. Not much fun.
