The walk up to the Carlo sand blow from Harry's Hut is worth it, too. We canoed there from Boreen Point, staying overnight at Fig Tree point, a year or so ago. Awesome spot.
Would lend you our canoe, except that we're also using it at that time.
Enjoy!
We've got a two person kingfisher, it's a heavy plastic job with a transom. You are welcome to borrow it over the break.

Ranga, I haven't forgotten you. Will get the activity plan to you in the next couple of days. I just have to delete a whole heap of non-applicable stuff and check a couple of details.
Cheers, Dave.
Ranga, email sent.
Cheers, Dave.
So Ranga, how'd the paddling go?
:rulez:
Dave.
Hehe, not too bad, but we only ended up using it once - too many things to do up there!
We paddled up and down Cooloothin Creek, which was lovely. If nothing else, we discovered canoeing is a great way for us to explore some waterways when the chance permits.
Should have paddled up to Harry's Hut. That's a nice place to visit, good camping there too and it opens up the upper part of the Noosa River for exploring.
I was camping at Elanda point Fri-Sat-Sun just gone, paddled up to Harrys hut on Saturday and the Noosa river was great, after taliking with a ranger he reccomended driving to Harrys and launching the canoe there and heading up so i will do that in a couple of weeks time. Paddling back to Elanda was great in the late afternoon with the wind behind us[ i couldnt get the canoe out of Elanda on Friday afternoon because of the wind[unless i walked it]]
