Thread: An interesting meet

Picked my girls up from their work on Saturday night, on a mission to go see the Myer Xmas windows in Melbourne city.
Walking back to the car, out of the corner of my eye, I spy a guy. He slows, he deviates his track, he's making a beeline for me. He stops to talk.

Turns out he had a 130, but the family wanted something a little more comfy. He's now driving, to his dislike, a Hilux. The family like it, but he would much rather have his 130 back, as it was a much more capable vehicle.
He goes to where the girls work quite often, so maybe he'll join us in a run/trip one day. Although he drives another marque, he still loves his Landies, and he loves the way we all band together,, hehe,, says he finds himself occassionally doing the "wave" at other Landies
So if you see a guy in a white Lux and he waves at you,, spare a thought for him, and wave back,, he misses us.
Ahh the things we do for the the love of family.
