I think I will have to get a tyre pressure monitoring system so I"ll know if a small tree has embedded itself in the side of my tyre, just in case I don't notice.

I reckon more tyres get staked that have those useless (except for grabbing stakes and directing them through the sidewall) side (biter) lugs, I would like a dollar for every stake I've seen through the sidewall at the edge of one of these side lugs, IMO, Regards Frank.
