When my passengers screen broke I turned around and drove home VERY slowly Then up to the parts rack, got and fitted a new glass

OH forgot I drive a series 3 Better start driving Madge cheaper windscreens

they had to get vw to check what version screen it had via a vin lookup. all a bit complicated for a screen i thought..

anyway happy to wait and get it done properly (one hopes)

A long time ago--
I had a rock cause a crack in the Rossi screen,,
it was way over on the passenger's side so I didnt bother much for the first week or so,, One day I looked over to see black (chinagraph)pencil marks near the crack,, I asked Mrs Pedro about this and she said every time the crack lengthened a date and place was added.
It was quite impressive at the end
