I've only ever made one New Year resolution that I've kept and that was New Years eve 1988. Have never made another ;)
Good luck with your diet and especially the exercise Tony, but a bloke of your age should be able to walk 10 k's easily. When at work (Ayers Rock 2 weeks on 2 off) I walk to work most days, which, depending on my route is 9 or 10 k's. So 80 or 90 minutes walking and I'll be 60 in a couple of months.:o
