If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Just one of the many reasons I stuck out for a 6 speed manual tdi. Salesmen may hate my particular tastes, but they aren't the ones driving and servicing my vehicles.
The bad bits
The DSG costs more to buy, more to run, more to service, more frequent servicing, does not change gears when/how I want and still has a dual mass flywheel (DMF) which will cost the same labour as a clutch to change. Then we have the horror stories.
The good bit apparently is it changes gear for you. But I like changing gear, so this bit doesn't apply.
