Regarding the petrol in the dunny incident I once had a similar experience in the backyard of a rental house. It was mid winter in Orange and we were in the process of lighting up the 44 gallon drum full of wood for the party that was scheduled to start in an hour or so.
Of course some accelerant was necessary and half a gallon of petrol was tipped into the 44 while a search was made for a suitably long implement to ignite it. In the still air on a frosty night the petrol fumes followed the contours of the ground out of the carport. Imagine the look on the face of the long suffering neighbours ( long sick of the country boys in a rental house in town next door) who had been observing the preparations for a night of celebration with some trepidation when with a mighty woof the 44 was ignited and the entire backyard was a sea of flames for the 5 seconds or so that it took for the vapour to burn off.
Luckily no damage was done and the fire bucket performed its duty until the cops finally arrived at 3am and suggested that we cease partying.

Has anyone tried to ignite petrol with a cigarette? I understand it's very hard to do. Not a spark or flame, some smouldering ash.
I had a fellow put his but out in my fuel tank. Didn't explode, just put the but out and put ash in my fuel tank. I wouldn't recommend doing it just in case.
i always wash my snatch strap in the washing machine......when the wife isnt looking......
the fun starts when the machine finishes its washing and starts to beep.....and she discovers what has just been washed.......
One good thing about being a batchelor, I can put straps in washing machine, parts in dish washer an no one bithches at me

We've now got 3 washing machines as SWMBO has learnt that It says washing machine on the front, If I can get it in it will wash it and that her washing her white dental smocks after I wash up the workshop towels and filter straps gets her a set of nice grey dental smocks.
and they'll just run on a 600w inverter.
x2 Washes anything. Economically.
We have a Daewoo twin, replacing a Haier twin, -which was a better machine.
Was pleasantly surprised to learn (last year) that both of these are still on the (WA) market, though we had to hunt for them.
Wife won't have anything else.
