I am the same height and I have the same issue. The one I want has no doors, the spare is mounted on the side near where the door would go. You can then hang your knee outside, which solves that problem.

I'll put my D4 up against your puma off road any day! What a Defender struggles with the D4 makes look easy.

And I still prefer a perentie over the puma.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Just think of where it is today, The Palestinian/Israeli situation, the situation in Damascus and throughout Syria, Egypt is likely to have another rebellion or civil war. (Remember it was the Australian Desert Corps under Harry Chauvel who liberated Damascus from the Ottoman/Turks and were then ordered out by the British General Staff so that the other pretender T.E. Lawrence and the Arab irregulars could enter Damascus from the other end.)

It seems to me that the Australian involvement was a fruitless exercise based on myth, lies and greed that only served to support illigitimate colonialism of two empires of Britan and France in their death throes drawing artificial lines in the sand while suppressing the rightful self determination of the peoples of the region.

Gosh Diana, your spelling is suffering with these fruitless/pointless arguments. "Britain" and "throes" if you dont mind

BTW.......as the original poster asked, "did anyone here buy one". Such a simple question too.

You should know that " Hi Jack " on this forum is not a greeting to a fellow AULROIAN named John

BTW , did anyone on here buy one of the Perenties. I am guessing they all sold?

From the deafening silence, you would have to say the first tranche of Perenties are overpriced , and the astute members of the forum recognise this, and are waiting for the excitement to die down. Bob

You have to ask the question about perentie purchasers on a forum that actually likes perenties and doesn't like pumas to get the answer of who bought one.

Since Ron is no longer active, what's the point of watching my Ps and Qs? You must also understand that that was when I first awoke in the morning and I hadn't had my first coffee fix of the day.

It was tongue in cheek, I don't need a history lesson, just who bought a perentie. And your spelling is sub standard, Bob

Picked mine up today FFR with 140k on it, Rego was a breeze plates were secured with cable ties Then began what im going to refer to as White Knuckle Terror.
This vehicle is not something you want to relearn driving a manual in, the truck is an absolute handful to manage for the un-inducted!
    SHAKE RATTLE AND ROLL BABY!

Overall the truck is in pretty schmick condition with something like 900hrs of preventative servicing and repairs which are all documented, It received a newly reconditioned Gearbox and transfer case 10k ago

Minor rust on axles and springs ect some dodgy wiring which i will need to repair but other than that i am really stoked with it

Most of the auction was purchased by dealers, car transporters were turning up while i was there. So i expect there will be a few on the market with another 5k on top again.
