Thanks men, noted on the Bosch unit good for gas. My issue with getting to the fuel tank through the boot is the tri-tank gas units bolted into the body taking up the whole area, is there anyway to come up under at it or will I have to take the tank out? Or is it to either side of the middle - I may have about half a foot on each side of the tanks in the back. Thanks again guys, good to have some knowledge so I'm not running blind!

But has the installation taken the petrol pressure out of the system?
A small note, perhaps in line with fuel pressure, I have just found a small tear in the fuel tank breather pipe?
I don't think the breather pipe will have anything to do with it,
Where is this breather pipe?
Right hand side runs next the the filler pipe for the tank prob a 1/2 inch pipe
Hi again, if its the same as mine to remove, isolate gas at cylinder and run motor till it cuts out, remove you fuel cap to relieve pressure. Undo pipes that should be in a bundle, the gas cylinder, gas filler pipe " rubber" , the gas delivery pipe " copper" one wire to the gas tank gauge and one in my case red solenoid wire and extract from the cover area, four bolts holding bracket in mine where 19 mm lift out the cylinders, easier if low on gas. I don't have a floor mat, but if you do remove. Remove Philips head screws and cover, clean out well area spotless. Undo fuel line delivery and return, unplug pump connector and tie all out the way. With varying degrees of difficultly unscrew big round retainer flange and lift out pump guiding the float control out carefully, if you need to fit the VN. Bosch pump check out threads on d1 site and follow the VN fuel pump threads and MAKE SURE TO ONLY USE SUBMERSIBLE FUEL LINE $$40.00 incld freight on eBay for 300 mm you only need 150 mm though....revers all to refit and spray gas fitting with soapy water after turning on to check for leaks ...GaryQuote:

Just check you can get the fuel line before starting, or you'll be like I am now with the Landy stuck in the garage where my works van should be. :-( Gary.. also if you buy it first then 9/10 you won't need it
Hi again gents, went to instal the new module but unfortunately I can't get to it with the tools I have at the moment. But there is a fuse running from a wire on the top of the coil that was loose (might have been for the immobiliser) then there were a few very loose connected lines that I have tightened, then a small black block with a blue and a green/yellow wires into it next to the air filter that was dangling off so that's been tightened and so far it started first pop and is doing alright
