They say 27,000,000 combinations, but I haven't worked it out myself. They claim this should last the next 50 years.
I was looking forward to a 7 digit plate, so more personalised options would be available...:D
Edit - maybe I misheard, I make it just over 37,000,000 but I was never great at this sort of thing...

since the letter and number positions are fixed, it should be 10x26x26x10x26x26 which gives 45,679,600. However that assumes there is an 0AA0AA option. If they are only using 1-9 then it becomes 9x26x26x9x26x26 which is 37,015,056 (which is I presume what you came up with?)Quote:
