    A Real Low Act

    Gday All,

Getting voted out as a leader of a political party whilst you are there to defend yourself is 1 thing.. But having your party vote you out whilst you are oversea's on a trade junket is scaping the bottom of the barrel.

Welcome to NT politics, the Chief minister ( our version of a premier ) got voted out of the top job whilst he is oversea's in Japan.

Gutless is about the only word I can think of thats printable on this forum.

There's a saying about a week in politics...maybe needs to be changed to a few days oversea's.

    Cheers Ean

PS, mods , dont want to start a political debate, just think its a low act no matter where your political ideals are.

Glad you said plane and not that other word that starts with B ends with T and has oa in the middle.. it would really start to get the mods attention if the words politics and boat are used in the same thread

That's the other thing I love about this forum and Australia!! The Humour! Used to b the odd one out over there with my daft humour!! Yup, it did start with mums belly and a plane... But there was a bit more to it! I'm a Diesel Fitter/Agricultural Engineer and Welder Boilermaker by trades. Came out here in 97 on a round the world trip with two chicks from London.. Anyway, they drove me scatty with their 'itinerys and schedules' so I found myself on a farm in WA! That was it, me sold! Big tractors, trucks, 2 legged hoppy things, beer and stuff that bites! What more could a guy want!!! Back to the UK for a few yrs, then out to Adelaide for a woman.. (Long story, involves a job in Africa), back to UK, 3 yr migration process and here I am! Living in the Barossa, married and working 2 on 2 off in WA as an ESO! Funny how it all pans out!

How do I get my list of vehicles or quote at the bottom like most on here??

Ean, it was probably inevitable. He was on the nose with the electorate and the party. Someone probably thought "Here's our chance. Get rid of him quickly. No arguments, no publicity, no snide leaks to the media. Fait accompli."

In the UK they are Trawlerman

In the USA they are movie stars ( see deadliest catch )

I will take being called a boat person or trawler person cause i've been called a hell of a lot worse, so no apologies needed

    Cheers Ean
