Yep, just went outside turned the old girl on took a look and yes emissions are coming out

In NSW emission check mostly depend on dobbers, and if police see visible emissions for more than 30? seconds, ie about every old truck on the road.

There was supposed to be emission sensors in the M5 tunnel because the air in there became unbreathable after many container trucks from Port Botany went through, but somehow the RTA stuffed up and it wasn't ( or couldn't be ) done.
The annual roadworthy will catch out dungers that visibly smoke but that is about all.
