Let us know how you go with this - both their after sales service and the fault.

Read the 4wdaction review, now I'm thinking maybe the DR air machine might be good, only $165 on ebay
I have an ALDI one for $99.
It looks identical to the Dr Air except for a shorter warranty.
I have found it to be excellent .

We have an aldi one that is kept in SWMBO's wrangler. Performance is similar to the ARB one mounted under the bonnet of my D3. I have inflated tractor tyres with no issues using it and it was reduced to $50.00 when I bought it.

    Ok, I think I've made a decision.

    Going to get this:

BUSHRANGER AUTO MAX 12V PORTABLE VIAIR AIR COMPRESSOR, 4WD, 2WD - ON SALE NOW! | eBay

It's a Bushranger Auto-Max. Comes with a plugga II tyre repair kit! For $349.

Don't go and order all of them before I can get it ordered....

I've had the ARB one for about 7 years now, very happy with it. I rebuilt it last year, (bearing, piston and cylinder), due to it sucking in a lot of dirt, (my fault), I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap the parts were from ARB.

One thing to note is that the electrical connector for the motor sucks, I've since replaced it with an anderson connector.

    Thanks,
