Longwall electrician!
What do I do?
Mostly I sell parts, accessories and consumables after being accused of being all mannerisims of things like a rip off merchant, thief, idiot, and a few others that would get filtered out, as well as answering such questions as "how the heck do you keep your job?"....
Occasionally I get to tell someone how to rectify a stuff up that wouldnt have happened if they had listened to me.
Rarely, I get to fix said stuffups, or just look after the odd really nice customer, and very, very rarely do I get to chat up some absolute hotties....
And sometimes, I get to play with other peoples landrovers..... one day I shall have my own!

As the name says... Fridgy, over the last 32 years worked in pretty much every aspect of the industry, if it has a compressor, screw or recip, gas powered electrical or diesel powered I have been fortunate enough to work on it or install it or both, love the industry and starting to think I should look around for a different view
Ok, here it goes...
* Finished college and was preparing to undertake an applied science degree at Uni of Tas, meanwhile all of my friends dropped out of school and the thought of them making money while I studied bothered me.
* Undertook an apprenticeship as a plasterer (gyprocker or bird ****ter as we are more commonly known) and continued doing both domestic and commercial projects as a sub-contractor.
* Moved to Brisbane 12 years ago and commenced as a project manager for 1 of the 3 major plasterboard manufacturers'.
* Wanted a change to a better work/life balance while the kids were young and became a public servant teaching my trade at a TAFE college. I've since completed my adult ed degree (majoring in VET and adult literacy and numeracy) and I write technical articles/specifications for industry, as well as teaching. :)
