    Couldn't agree more!
    The Dodge range of vehicles is for the most part pretty unexciting or are gas hogs compared to contemporaries on sale in the USA.

    Mopar products are in any case big losers in value once they are driven off the lot with exception of Ram Pick up trucks. Resale values are about 45 to 50% of sale prices within 2 years.

    Didn't know that Suzuki were pulling out of the US. That doesn't say a lot for their future.

    Shouldn't be surprised to see a Volvo on the list, given their recent history with being sold by Ford and acquired by a Chinese company. Probably not a lot of funds to go around for product development after that.

    The "Smart" car is'nt doing so badly.... taking a leisurely 14.7 seconds to reach 60 mph. (98km/h) - My 3.9 Classic takes longer.

    If the Defender was sold in USA as a passenger car it would top the list , no doubt about it.

    the criteria that they use to chose the best or worst car does not even get a consideration when I chose a car.
    If there was no Defender I'd be driving a Wrangler Unlimited wagon.

    Suzuki was never a strong market contender in the NAS car markets.

    The support was patchy and aftermarket scan tools were hard to obtain since the factory wouldn't release repair info to the likes of Snap On etc.
    That meant whatever the year the dealer for many was the only repair and maintenance option.
    Besides the NAS car market has been very competitive since 2008, with VW USA being a hot seller and stacked up against Ford who has renewed vigour with a very wide and and attractive model line up for US buyers.

    Nevertheless Jaguar/LandRover seems to be beating all forecasts with strong Chinese sales judging by this article in the Times.
