    Zedcars, Meanz....

............or any one else in the States; are you able to give me a contact for a Goldwing dealer please? I Googled and emailed a dealer in California but got no reply. Very unyanklike in my experience, normally the people I've previously dealt with have given brilliant and prompt service.

Ian, I will be there from May 10 to June 29. Going to the Indy 500. What are you trying to find out?

Ian, got some pictures and part nos? If I see a dealer I will call in. D'ya think there might be a Ricegrinder dealer in Sturgis? I will be there around 15 June. More likely to have time available in LA, Indianapolis, or Omaha though.

Are Gold Wings separate dealerships to Honda?

To the best of my knowledge all US Honda dealers are 'Wing dealers too, as opposed to here where only selected Honda dealers are also 'Wing dealers. There are only two in Queensland and the Brisbane dealer is useless. They never have parts and you're lucky to find a Goldwing on the floor.
I'll PM you a picture and ratio (with the part numbers if I have them) on the weekend. Thanks Brian.

Rather than PM Brian I'll post all the info I have here.

I need the crown wheel and pinion, marked as a pair number 6, and the final drive which is a splined slip joint affair not shown on the diagram but fits onto the back of the crown wheel where indicated by the red arrow.

Ian, can you post a photo of the invisible bit. I wonder why it is not shown on the parts list?

I don't have a photo Brian. The crown wheel and pinion don't wear, only the the 'slip joint' if tyre fitters don't grease it when fitting a rear tyre.
