It can be a bit of a lottery, so I take the advice of people like Mario and Heather, they've moved enough stuff over the years to have a handle on what's good and what's not.
I took this advice a little while ago on a BP Vac pump for my 300 D1. Good brakes and no oil leaks so all good sofar.

Some stuff is good, some ok and some not so good. As mentioned good parts suppliers will know what works and what doesn’t as they’ll be the first point of contact for returns of dodgy stuff. I’ve found their rubber products let them down the most.

Remember that if Britpart wasn’t having these parts made from around the world, it would be a whole lot harder to restore out beloved old Landies. 😊

    Britpart Quality

I bought a Britpart water pump for a Defender 300Tdi a couple of years ago and it failed in under a month so I replaced it with a Bearmach one and as far as I know it's still working since it was sold last year.

I have found the Britpart door seals incredibly hard to fit and non of their seals last. Otherwise I'd use them as long as it doesn't turn nor seal.

    No.
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
