No worries,Dave. Glad to help. Pretty good knowing I can fit that much without folding down the rear seats all the way![]()
Two weeks ago I purchased, from the markets here, 5 x16 inch D2 alloys off an 04 model from Modelsp. The problem was they were in Wollongong. I priced a couple of freight companies and it was going to cost more than I paid for the wheels. (they do have tyres on them)
As a last resort Modelsp was prepared, at no charge to meet me half way, a round trip that would have taken us both about seven hours.
I then checked out AULRO courier service. I found here some one was trying to get a package from Sydney to Melb. LoveB was doing this run. I contacted him and he was leaving Sydney the next day in a 110. He had enough space to fit my wheels.
It was arranged for him to meet Modelsp on the Hume somewhere. He then took them home to Canberra. The following week he went to Melb and I met him at Benalla.
How good is this place
Modelsp Thank you for your help getting the wheels to the Hume.
LoveB. A HUGE thanks for the trouble you went to, getting the wheels to my place.
Footnote. When LoveB picked up the wheel there were an extra two tyres thrown in. So all up 5 wheels with tyres and two tyres. That is one big load.
Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

That's what I love about this community, so many people ready to help out others that they have never met, simply because we have a common bond. Great work guys.
Cheers, Mick.
